STELLA PETROPOULOU is an artist who lives
and works in Santorini, an island with a special architecture, magnificent
little alleyways and stone houses, built by the natives with black
and red lava stones spat out by the volcano some 2,500 years B.C.
The artist, expressing all her passion and love for the island,
creates three-dimensional
works of art portraying and giving life to some of the most picturesque
spots of the
island in her very personal way by means of natural materials, which
are used to build
the houses on the island i.e. black and red volcanic stones for
the walls and old wood
for doors and windows.
The result is stunning.
